# Sign Up & Wallet Setup

TopStrike uses Privy for seamless wallet creation — no browser extensions or seed phrases required.

## Creating Your Account

Sign up using:

* **Sign up using \*\*X (Twitter)\*\*.**

That's it. Your wallet is created automatically in the background.

## Your Embedded Wallet

When you sign up, Privy creates a secure embedded wallet for you. This wallet:

* Lives in your browser, secured by your login
* Works instantly with TopStrike
* Holds your ETH and player cards

You don't need to install MetaMask or any browser extension.

## Funding Your Wallet

To buy player cards, you'll need ETH in your TopStrike wallet.

Find your wallet address:

Navigate to **Deposit** in the app to view or copy your wallet address.

If transferring from another network, use the official MegaETH bridge:

[rabbithole.megaeth.com](https://rabbithole.megaeth.com)

Always ensure you're sending ETH on the correct MegaETH network. Sending funds on the wrong network may result in permanent loss.

**How much do I need?** MegaETH gas fees are minimal. A small amount of ETH (0.01–0.05) is enough to get started and make many trades.

## Wallet Recovery

If you lose access to your device:

Signing in with the same login method restores access to your embedded wallet

Your wallet is tied to your login credentials, not just a seed phrase. As long as you can access your social account, you can recover your wallet.

## Backup & Key Management

Your wallet is secured by your login method

You can export your private key at any time in the app under Portfolio → Profile → Wallet Manager

From there, you can view and export your private key.

If you export it:

* Store it securely and offline
* Never share it with anyone
* Treat it as full control over your wallet and funds

If someone gains access to your private key, they control your wallet.

If you lose access to your login credentials and have not exported your private key, you may permanently lose access to your wallet.

## Important Notes

* TopStrike uses **non-custodial** smart contracts — you control your wallet
* TopStrike does not store or have access to your exported private key and cannot reset or recover it.
* Transactions on the blockchain are **irreversible**
* Always ensure you're on the official TopStrike site
* You are solely responsible for securing your login credentials and any exported private keys.
